Chabad of Alaska
Since arriving in Anchorage in 1991,
Chabad-Lubavitch's shluchim have been generating
Jewish warmth here with a pre-school program, a Hebrew
school, day camps, a mikvah and a shul. Special
holiday awareness programs bring this community
together around Jewish celebrations and traditions.
Alaska is home to 6,000 Jews (half of which live in
Anchorage), and it is visited by many Jewish tourists.
